NEW COURES ADDED! EMAIL PICS OF YOUR CAR SO WE CAN UPDATE CARS SECTION!
12-18-08 New race dates for 09 are up. We are still looking for art work for the 09 flyer. Some members have offered spare (free) parts to anyone looking for components for their kart.
Races have be planned in almost every county north of route 22. So no bitching. There is a tech form for everyone to fill out prior to racing this year.
10-05-08 HOLY $&!*...Guard rails, rocks, ravines, rivers ...GRRRR... Never to be raced in the rain again. Crazier than most people could handle. Dont believe us, try it! Thanks to everyone who helped today.

This sunday. LAST OPEN RACE OF THE SEASON! Most elevation drop to date!
New cars, New racers, The Same mean hill OCT 5th
Ad propaganda stolen from AIGRF and SFVISBF…buy their shit and support them
Last race proved to really test the driver’s skill. Drizzle, fog and a heavy amount of traffic made for a clean trophy race. Speeds were in the 50+mph. Seven racers showed with uo (pabst bomber) and Adam (freight train) proving to be the fastest. The pabst bomber was just toying with the other racers. Little challenge to take the win. Adam finally finished his car enough to race, and it was pretty quick off the line but lacked the top end to take the win. With a body and a bit more weight he will probably give the pabst bomber a run for the money. Another newbie drove Grey skull for the first time (Bpat). He won the 3rd race and was passing people in the oncoming traffic lane (with cars coming at him) in the 1st and 2nd race. We think we hooked him... he says he’s in for the next race... we'll see? ... Chongo was a big disappointment and caused non-official bets to be lost (5 bucks to derf). We can only speculate that the wreck from the 'planks' race was too much for him... Kevin’s lawn mower and welding cart snapped in half on the 3rd run and he lost all steering.. Luckily he has that retarded 2 brake set-up which let him steer with the rear wheels only. Another skunked finish. (Don’t worry buddy everyone has to start somewhere).
Third and forth races where about a mile and half from the trophy race course and were some good fun. Two hills right next to each other and both about a mile long. The tow up proved to be more of challenge for us than the actual race. The idiot driving in grey skull didn’t think he had to steer and kept causing the chain to fish tail out of control. The car would then contact the other cars in the tow chain causing a sound that can only be described as “hey look at us and call the cops". We laughed like little kids though.
See you on the streets!
Four runs, three hills, cops, speed, smoke, and best race day to date. The hills will scream on the 5th. Here we come.

Paragraph.
08 17 08
Driver of the day went to Chongo with his debut race day driving the fastest car in the fleet, Greyskull. Like hand grenades and horseshoes the njusbf gives credit for almost. Chongo almost took first place but lost control on those tricky Union City speed bumps. Showing no mercy, the two collided head-on into the Jersey barrier with minimal braking and tons of sparks. The crash wrecked grey skull and left Chongo a bit shaken with minor blood loss. *Note: To date grey skull has not made it through a race day without needing a rebuild.
Even after such a nasty wreck Chongo bucked up and raced again with another loaner cart causing a small NJ traffic jamb on the cobble stone twisties. A great first time showing. The federation liked your enthusiasm to race the fastest car even if the brake handle ripped off before the start.
To the spotters and meet spot provider, thanks again.
Only 2 open races left!! The last race of the season is for members who have at least 4 races under their belt only. This is a safety reason and nothing else.
08 15 08 Driver shirts are here... Meet spot has been sent. Misfits welcome.
Video Soon!
Big thanks again to the west team for coming out to spot for us. Having you guys not only makes it a safer day for us but allows us to run much longer courses. Coming out even during one of the worst lightning storms of summer is awesome. Also, A big thanks to the park ranger who gave us the thumbs up to race and the neighbors at the bottom for their interest and enthusiasm. We could only hope that all of our races had neighbors like you guys.
A big f.u. to those deer (you know who you are) for sprinting down the middle of the course and playing chicken with us like you own the place.
It was a stormy race morning with down pouring rain, sky illuminating lightning and gusty winds. But as the racers convened, the sky’s brightened, fog lifted and state troopers left the race area.
OB1 provided the venue with wet gritty pavement and steep corners. Five die hard racers showed to test their skill. One new racer showed all the way from phili just to be spanked in all 3 races. Adam managed to race another loaner car, stating that his ride still isn’t ready. (We’re starting to think he just likes driving different cars so he has an excuse on why he didn’t win.) The pabst bomber debuted it’s rebuilt with an impromptu cardboard and duct tape body that blew off from the soaking rain and long trailer ride to the location. Despite being the worst looking car, it was by far the fastest, taking 1st in all three runs. Derf also managed repeated 2nd place finishes with extra style for the fans in his tight leathers. He showed them off several times with standup ‘swerving for speed’ style (which doesn’t work)
Tight battle for 3rd between Adam and Brian with the driver of the day award going to Brian for his 2wheeled corner at full speed. Adam ended up taking 3rd driving the rouge shifter cart.
The alternate course was ran for the 2nd fun run of the day and proved to be an amazing run. We have to make this a trophy run for the future.
Hopefully we’ll have video out soon. If anyone is interested in filming the next race please contact us. It will most likely be done in Hudson county.

GreySkull's 1st photo shoot
6/9/08 Lil Grey skull took a beatin from the girls and the race. Falling off the trailer earlier in the day and then being beat on by Izzy with that large monkey wrench. All and all it was a good 1st showing for him. Look for high rez shots from the entire shoot soon!
6/9/08 -Big thanks to Farabomb, EvilKen and friend (need your name and fabricating services) & Rick and Bob(?) for coming out to spot and video. For the first time we had more spotters than racers. Only 3 lone soldiers showed to race, although 5 soapbox cars were used for the two races.
In race one, U.O. took an early lead and was caught quickly by GreySkull and Derf, Oncoming traffic caused greyskull's driver (adam) to panic and hit the brakes allowing U.O., in the Pabst Bomber to blow past and carry the lead for the rest of the race. Speeds were recorded at 47 by derf, in the Asian Food Car, who took 2nd place.
Complications (aka we were lazy and didnt tie the cars down) caused Greyskull to fall off the trailer and damage most of the major components. Derf also lost brakes and was forced to race an alternate car.
Race two was much of the same with U.O. taking and holding the lead until the very end where he tried to show off and spin to win into the finish. Stopping just short of the finish, derf made a last minute pass, taking the win. Adam, bitter as always, pitted his loaner kart into the U.O.'s Pabst Bomber while crossing the finish line.
The after party involved lots of sweat, tattooed models, a much more professional photo shoot than any of us expected, tons of grilled meats, mini-bike vs pit-bike races and of course beer. Stay tuned & check back soon for pics of the models with GreySkull and Derfs Asian food market car.
